Contracting with the CCG for Adult NHS Continuing Healthcare in Hampshire
By its powers under the National Health Service Commissioning Board and Clinical Commissioning Groups (Responsibilities and Standing Rules) Regulations 2012, NHS England mandates that the NHS Standard Contract must be used by CCGs and by NHS England where they wish to contract for NHS-funded healthcare services, including Continuing Healthcare.
The NHS Standard Contract exists in order that commissioners and providers operate to one clear and consistent set of rules which everyone understands, giving a level playing field for all types of provider and allowing economies in the drafting and production of contracts.
The CCG has prepared Contracts for the care it commissions from Care Homes and Domiciliary Care Providers.
When commissioning a placement or package of care, Providers are required to confirm their agreement to these terms and conditions:
